DEPARTMENT WEEKLY NEWS RELEASES
The Department tries to provide news releases to local media every week. We post the news releases on
this web site as soon as possible during the week. News releases are maintained for the current month of
release, and the previous two months.
NOTE: Pursuant to Iowa Rule of Professional Conduct 32:3.6(e), this information is provided along with the statement that a criminal charge is merely an accusation and the defendant is presumed innocent until and unless proven guilty.
**Due to the fire the police building, news releases were discontinued for the months of October and November.
