UNDERAGE CONSUMPTION ORDINANCE

CHAPTER 45.06
1. Misrepresentation of Age. A person under the legal age shall not misrepresent the person's age for the purpose of purchasing or attempting to purchase any alcoholic liquor, alcoholic beverage, beer or wine from any licensee or permittee.
2. Unlawful Consumption. It is unlawful for a person under the legal age to consume any alcoholic liquor, alcoholic beverage, wine or beer.
3. Public Appearance. It is unlawful for a person under the legal age to appear in public after consuming any alcoholic liquor, alcoholic beverage, beer or wine.
A violation of this section may be prosecuted either in the jurisdiction where the violation occurs or the jurisdiction where evidence of the consumption is observed. A violation of this section is a simple misdemeanor, punishable by a fine of not less than sixty-five dollars ($65.00) but not exceeding five hundred dollars ($500.00) or by imprisonment in the County Jail not exceeding thirty (30) days.
